As much of western North Carolina recovers from the impacts of Hurricane Helene, there are many ways the UNC-Chapel Hill community can come together to help.

Carolina is committed to providing support for disaster recovery and relief efforts. The Carolina Center for Public Service is compiling more information on its disaster relief web page

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has a web page with resources for how to be aware of rumors and find information from trusted sources.

The Carolina Student Impact Fund offers support to students who are experiencing financial hardships as a result of Helene. Students who may be eligible or want to learn more should email disasterrecovery@studentaid.hth-ope.com. Find ways to donate on the Impact Fund’s website

Student Affairs also has resources for UNC System students displaced by the storms.
